Summer Has Arrived

Summer Has Arrived

The afternoon dry fly hatches on sunny afternoons have been remarkable. These sunny afternoons are filled with fluttering caddis, which equates to a trout buffet. We are catching rainbows, browns and brooks that are over 20 inches on most trips. The afternoon fishing on a dry fly has been nothing short of spectacular. We still have some last minute availability, but weekends are filling up fast. Book your summer float trips early… These will be gone before you know it. We pride ourselves on quality guides, and thats the reason that so many days are filled.

Our water on the Linville River has been amazing and is loaded with monster trout often eager to take a big dry.

Our water on the North Toe has been stocked and should provide amazing fishing opportunities to beginner anglers with a chance to catch some really big fish.

The private wild water is on fire, and fishing will be awesome on the dry fly, regardless of conditions.

Tenkara fishing in North Carolina continues to grow leaps and bounds each season. Many seasoned anglers are giving it a try, and pushing the limits of the sport with us. We are landing massive fish on tenkara rods that are turning heads.
